Following his criticially acclaimed debut album 'Keep a Private Room Behind the Shop' Tom Rosenthal releases the seasonal single 'Christmas Quiet'. Having recieved support from the likes of BBC Radio 2's Paul Gambaccini, who described his debut as "the best album by a British male artist this year(2011)' Rosenthal saw his work gain a strong following. This culminated with air play on BBC 6music and a number of songs featuring on the Channel 4's teen drama 'Skins'.
Christmas Quiet, as the title suggests, is a gentle and heartwarming song evoking the atmosphere of Christmas time. It features two voices in harmony which are accompanied by solo guitar. The 2nd voice is provided by the contemporary artist Alex Brenchley who, having previously designed cover art for 'Noah and The Whale', also produced the cover art for this single.
